Cork \u2014 with the help of their herd of buffalo, of course \u2014 is a genuinely innovative Irish product that stands up to comparison with the best buffalo mozzarella from Italy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jameswhelanbutchers.com\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Bone-Marrow-Pizza.pdf\">Bone Marrow Pizza Recipe &#8211; Printer Friendly Download<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">olive oil or rapeseed oil<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">2 shallots, finely sliced<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">3 large cloves garlic, finely sliced<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">1 pizza base<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">1\/2 ball Toons Bridge Irish mozzarella or\u00a0other buffalo mozzarella<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">50 g bone marrow, chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">3 tablespoons finely grated hard cheese \u2013<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Hegarty\u2019s, Desmond, Coolea, Cratloe Hills\u00a0or Parmesan<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">small handful of caper berries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Makes 1 pizza<\/p>\n<h2>To Cook<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Preheat the oven to its highest setting.\u00a0In a small frying pan, heat a tablespoon of oil and gently fry the shallots and garlic until soft\u00a0and golden. Tear the mozzarella into small pieces and dot evenly over the surface of the pizza.\u00a0Add the shallots and garlic, with their oil, and distribute evenly over the pizza. Add the chopped\u00a0bone marrow and finally sprinkle with the hard cheese.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Place on a heated oven tray or pizza stone in the preheated oven until bubbling and starting\u00a0to brown.
