While it is considered a type of curry, it is\u00a0very mild.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jameswhelanbutchers.com\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/chicken-korma.pdf\"><strong>Chicken Korma &#8211; Printer Friendly Download<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1 medium onion, peeled\u00a0and chopped<\/li>\n<li>2 cloves of garlic, peeled\u00a0and chopped<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons sunflower oil<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons plain flour<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons korma curry\u00a0powder<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jameswhelanbutchers.com\/proddetail.php?prod=6301\">750 g\/1 lb 10 oz boneless,\u00a0skinless chicken breasts<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon fresh coriander\u00a0plus extra for garnish<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons seedless\u00a0raisins<\/li>\n<li>350 ml\/12 fl oz chicken\u00a0stock, warmed<\/li>\n<li>30 g\/1 oz flaked almonds<\/li>\n<li>juice of 1\u20442 lemon<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons natural yoghurt<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons double cream<\/li>\n<li>salt and black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Serves 6<\/p>\n<h2>To Cook<\/h2>\n<p>Fry the onion and garlic gently in the oil in a large frying\u00a0pan for about 5 minutes, or until soft. Mix the flour and\u00a0curry powder in a large bowl. Cut the chicken into 2.5\u00a0cm\/1 inch cubes and toss them in the powder mixture\u00a0until evenly coated. Add the coated chicken to the pan\u00a0and fry, stirring, for about 3 minutes. Add the coriander\u00a0to the chicken with the raisins and stock. Bring to the\u00a0boil, stirring. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.\u00a0Toast the almonds in a dry frying pan. When the chicken\u00a0is cooked, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the\u00a0almonds, lemon juice, yoghurt and cream. Add salt and\u00a0pepper to taste.
