    Why do you steep them ham for 24 hrs? Is it to remove the salt?

    Loved this video. My Mum used to always boil a Ham on the bone for Christmas, sent from Ireland – It was delicious. I have tried to recreate this,but It just doesn’t have the flavour and texture. Oven roasting has also been a big dissapointment. I like the idea of roasting with water and parchment paper. Will definitely try this at home. Lovely video.
