What is special about James Whelan Butchers' Meat?
Our meat is of the highest quality that reflects the
care we take in breeding, animal welfare and processing. We dry age our beef,
the traditional method of developing the flavour of the beef, and as a result,
our beef has a natural sweetness, a deep red colour and superb cooking and
eating qualities.

Where are You Based?
Oakville Shopping Centre, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary,
Ireland.James Whelan Butchers is a fifth generation family business involved in
farming and retail in Clonmel.
Where Do Your Source Your Meat?
We have our own herd of Hereford and Aberdeen Angus
cattle located just outside Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. Our lamb, pork, bacon and
poultry are all sourced from local producers in Co. Tipperary, who follow our
stringent quality control guidelines, a full copy of which is available on
